In 2006, Chris was asked if he would utilise his experience in mergers and acquisitions gained in the plastics, foam and rubber industry to assist Eldercare create a joint venture with ‘Help the Aged’ as the two companies merged their pendant alarm services. Whilst he was only planning on staying for a short time, the company did not let him leave and he now finds himself leading one of the UK’s largest assistive technology service providers.
As a scientist by background (M.A. in Chemistry (Oxon)) and with an Masters in Business Administration plus extensive business experience acquired over more years than he cares to acknowledge, Chris is ideally suited to direct and develop Eldercare in their provision of 21st century care.
He has also hand-selected a management team with both the skills and experience to provide expert support to Eldercare’s customers and clients.
Kathryn joined Eldercare in 2006, initially training as a member of our customer service staff and rapidly gaining breadth of experience in Telecare and Telehealth as well as commercial knowledge through roles in marketing and account management. As a consequence, Kathryn has become known as the external ‘face of Eldercare’ and has developed an extensive industry network. Alongside delivering her responsibilities as Head of Client Services, looking after the account management and service delivery for all of our corporate customers, Kathryn also leads our home care division. Kathryn holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology and a level 5 Management Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Becki joined the company as a call handling operator and quickly worked her way up to the post of Control Centre Manager. In her time as Business Support Manager, Becki was involved in strategic decision-making in all business areas, before being appointed Operations Director in 2014. Becki has Diplomas in Business Management and Human Resource Management and, because of her background, has an unrivalled understanding of Eldercare’s entire business operations as well as an in-depth understanding of call handling services.
After gaining a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at St. Anne’s College, Oxford Sue began her career in retail buying (M&S) and FMCG marketing (Nestlé). After 23 years marketing some of the nation’s favourite food and beverage brands, she joined Eldercare in 2012. The unique world of assistive technology is a very different challenge.

Josie holds a B.A.Hons degree in Business Studies from the University of Central Lancashire and as part of her degree she spent a semester studying at Montpellier University. She has been a qualified Management Accountant for nearly 20 years (CIMA) and previously worked for Auto Trader and British Vita both here and in France, before joining the Eldercare team over 7 years ago. She has an extensive experience in providing support to both our Corporate customers as well as our many private clients and is a highly valued member of the Eldercare Management Team.
