Alerts an on-site carer rather than the Control Centre
The Carer Pager allows the sensors within a property to link directly to an onsite carer rather than going through an alarm unit to the Emergency Response Centre. They can also be programmed with a ‘rollover’ facility, so that if the carer is not in the property, or not able to assist, then an alert will go through to the Response Centre.
Who is it for?
• Those who have a live-in carer, or a carer within the property for the majority of the time, who wish to be alerted if an issue arises within the property.
• Ideal for those who wish to be alerted as the movements of the person they are caring for, both day and night. Removes the stress on a carer of having constantly check that the person they are caring for is where they are supposed to be and not subject to any risk.
How does it work?
The Carer Pager allows a carer to go about with their day-to-day lives and sleep well at night, knowing that if there are any issues with the person that they care for, they will be alerted immediately. There is also a ‘rollover’ facility through to an alarm unit, which allows the carer to leave home safe in the knowledge that the alarm would notify either their mobile telephone or the Emergency Response Centre.
All of the pieces of Assistive Technology that can be linked to the Response Centre through the Dispersed Alarm Unit can also be linked within the property to a Carer Pager.
When an alert is raised from a piece of equipment, the Carer Pager will give out an audible warning sound and alert the Carer. Whichever sensor has activated will then be displayed on the Carer Pager so that the carer knows exactly what issue has arisen and can respond immediately if necessary.
